They glanced at each other…

The gentleman in a dull suite,
Walking gently down the hill…
Youngster passing him
Climbing up the hill…
Once they met each others’ eyes
The gentleman murmured,
“You have many miles to climb son!”
The youngster replied “No worries…have to climb!”

Accept - Reject

You asked me to stay; I stayed…
You ask me to leave; I can’t …

No Discrimination

I am a Sinhalese, who speaks Sinhala
You are a Tamil, who speaks Tamil
But, I always listen to you,
As you always listen to me…

My Mother Is Not Well Today!

The sun looks at us with indolent eyes
The sweet smell from the kitchen does not spread
Buds have not blossomed yet
Birds do not sing
Squirrels do not come to eat
My mother is not well today!

Father knows better than me….

When I was a child, I had felt,
“My father knows many things…”
When I was a high school student, I had felt,
“My father knows something…”
When I was an undergraduate, I had felt,
“My father knows a little…”
Now, having become a father,
I know, my father had known many things that I don’t know….

How can Gravity Exist?

According to Newton:
“There is something called Gravity;
That’s why apples fall on to the earth!”

Yes, we accept; but can we prove?

According to Einstein:
“There is nothing as Gravity; but there is a Circularity of
Time in the Space!
That’s why all fall on to earth, including apples!”

We accept him as well; but can we prove?

The greatest philosopher has mentioned,
“Nothing is permanent, only impermanence is permanent;
There is no one as my self and nothing as mine!”

So, how can Gravity exist?
Can we prove it?
Not by blind beliefs…but by realizing
Reality of Life!
But when..?

One another day – Another one day!

One day, they told me, “You are a genius!”
Then I was glad to be myself…
Another day, they told me, “You are not up to the expected level!”
Then, I was sad to be my self…

One day, I saw a blossoming flower
Then, I thought “Mother Nature is constructive!”
Another day, I saw some victims of an earth quake
Then, I thought “Mother Nature is destructive!”

One day, they told me, “We were benefited from you!”
Then I felt, “Wow... They need me!”
Another day, they told me, “You were benefited from us!”
Then I felt, “Mmm…I also need them!”

A Little Star

A little star in the timid sky
Among the stars it rattled in the heart
Seeing in my dreams the star smiles,
My heart wanted her to shine my world......

Saw many a star before
Nothing glittered more
Seeing this little star,
My heart wanted her to shine my world......

One day in the timid sky
Saw a star falling down
Seeing the star falling down,
Made an eternal wish -"The little star should shine my world......"

After that,
Waited for the little star to come to the waiting sky
But,
It never appeared again....!

To: Mr. Spider in my room

How artistic you are…?
Weaving the enchanting web
How patient you are…?
Paying the utmost attention

What a wonderful creation…?
The WEB…Yes…A magnificent piece of artistry
How dare we think,
It is not to exhibit; but to snare another life?

My mind

Feel like its mine
But never felt the ownership…
Feel like I’m controlling it
But it is vise-versa…
