A Lion Story

He spent a graceful life in the thick jungle
He was the Lion king who ruled the region...
He was graceful & smart, did nothing to harm his dignity
He had a son who was his whole world!
The Lion son was clever
The Lion son grew day by day with pride & vanity not with soft feelings...

One day,
the Lion son thought to leave the jungle to find his independence
He left the region to enjoy the independence
The Lion son did not return home for a long time...

One day, he returned home No one was there, at his birth place...
Nothing was left behind except the throne, preserved by the great father!..

A Story of a Hawk

The "BIG HAWK" flew high in the firmament
with a heavy load of pride on his head
He always thought that, the sun shines for him before it shines on earth...
He never glanced at others...
thinking, others glance at him He never sat foot on earth,
which was his born-in-home, unless he felt hunger or he saw a prey

Time passed..., one day... a comic incident took place,
A Jackal was able to grab and enjoy the stinking carcass of that "big hawk", near a bush!..

A Dead Man, speaking!

When I was in my childhood, my parents told me,
"Please be careful!"
When I was in my youth, my mistress told me,
"Please be careful!"
When I was in my marriage life, my wife, who was my mistress told me,
"Please be careful!"
When I was in the evening of my life, my children told me,
"Please be careful!"
After having met DEATH, I tell all of them, NOT the truth,
"Please be careful! It is better there, than here...!"

One day I was thinking!

One day I was proud,
Thinking that I'm a genius!
Another day I was disappointed,
Thinking that I'm a fool!

One day I smiled,
Seeing the beauty of the world!
Another day I cried,
Seeing the harshness of it!

One day I was so glad,
Benefited from the society!
Another day I was so angry,
Il-treated by it!

One day I was overjoyed,
Feeling the luck!
Another I was terribly sad,
Feeling the pressure!

Kandyan Dancer

Jewelry are not glittering now
Like in old hay days…
Feet are not moving now
Like in old young days…

But,
His jewelry has a proud story;
filled with true identity
His feet imply the dedication...

He has danced gracefully,
Not to earn money but to preserve the dignity
Yet, he has earned something…
A lot of consolation, from divining scarification…

Sweetest Love

Sun sets not with pale orange
But with gracefulness which it does manage
Moon comes not with indolent eyes
But with romantic smiles
Couple of doves, roosted on a bole of an alone tree
Having a lovely evening…

I recall how I spent the youth with my fiancé,
With full of Love, Affection & Mutual Understanding…

I shut down the window & turned into our room!

Now I see the prince of my world is sleeping
In the comfort warmth of the bosom of his Mother
I gain consolation of seeing the divining fiancé of mine,
Sleeping with my little prince as a sacred mother…

A Tale of Two Ears

Once,

I heard a sudden sigh of relief...
That is from a man who had a narrow escape!

I heard a sudden cry of pain...
That is from a man who had sorrow in his heart!

I heard a sudden sound of laughter...
That is from a man who had borrowed happiness!

I heard a sudden shout of anger...
That is from a man who had followed power!

Now,

I hear a sudden quivering of hesitation...
That is from heart of a person who has heard many!
